OK, so just saw the weather forecast and we are in for some COLD. Two days with a low of minus 2 and a high of 12. BRRR. (It was a balmy 70 on Saturday. weird.)
Are there any precautions we can take to minimize short-term freeze issues. We have removed that wall in the basement to expose the water works and have a ceramic heater blowing in there. We have an electric heated water hose hooked up to the shore water.
Do we need to empty our fresh water tank? It's half full (or empty, depending on how you look at it
)
Any suggestions? Retreating to warmer climes is unfortunately not an option.
