Garage TV mounting

I'm looking for advice for mounting a television in the garage of my 2021 Carbon 338. Keystone placed the TV backing mount on the lower wall of the garage and the cable hook up box on the upper wall of the loft area. So in order to attached my television to the box, I will need to run a section of cable approximately 8'. Keystone was contacted and said this is how they are all built. I find this very hard to believe. Anyone else have this same issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

I believe the tv is supposed to mount on the upper wall. That’s where I’ve seen it mounted on toy haulers online. The washer dryer goes where the lower wall is. They probably put the sticker in the wrong place is my guess

First thing out of the salesman's mouth was saying that the 338 is 12000 lbs. It's gross weight is right at 17K lbs. Obviously that might make a difference to a person wishing to buy this camper in that their tow vehicle may be a consideration.

Thanks for sharing the video. That confirmed my suspicion that Keystone installed the backer at the wrong place in my unit. There is definitely not a backer where he points to in the video. They put the backer (and sticker) on the lower wall above the washer/dryer hook up.
When I contacted Keystone, they said my configuration is correct and are not willing to correct it. As a new Keystone owner, what are my options to hold them accountable and fix the issue. My dealer is in agreement me with as well and tried to get Keystone to do the right thing and they still refused.

at this point i’d mount the tv in the upper location ..maybe open the wall up in the loft and install a backer plate yourself …the patch won’t be able to be seen easily ..that’s what i’d do…if you open the garage side then the tv would likely hide any cosmetic issues …i would imagine there are studs in the loft wall…can’t you just get a generic flat screen mount to bridge the studs? unless they are greater then 24” on center
