TV stand in new camper

We just purchased a 2011 Montana 3750fl and we have a couple items we're not sure what to do with, one is the fan-tastic vent, we think this is to bring air in the camper but we're not sure. Then we have a tv stand with a glass bottom and what appears to be a door knob on top, our dealer said this thing is worthless, I just think it should serve some purpose any help would be appreciated.

Can't and won't comment on your glass-bottom TV stand with door knob on top but the Fantastic Fan does work well to remove air from the RV and also to bring in air from the outside. We have two ---- leave one on the "exhaust" mode and the other on the "intake" mode resulting in an excellent flow of air in the RV. Warm inside air being replaced by cooler outside air. And they do move a large volume of air!
Doesn't do the quite the same job that an A/C does but we rarely make use of our A/C ---- except when we cross the border from the frozen north into the warm south. Turn the A/C on as soon as we go across the 49th.
