Lol I can relate ...when I was young and single it didn’t hurt having women go clothes shopping with me because “ oh that’s adorable” you poor thing”. It was better then having a puppy lol

Nice looking rig. I almost bought those same newer Laramie wheels because I liked them better and wanted at least 18” wheels

I think that is the best looking wheel on RAM's stable. I did not want 20" wheels anyway!

Very nice! I've had my black truck though. Somebody makes a polish just for black. Keeps the black from going smoky gray. When you can see your fingerprints on the black, you need it.
I sometimes wish I had ordered 4:10.
I air the dually tires down to 42 when not hauling.

Thanks! Yeah I’m pretty particular about having a clean truck so I probably added about 100 extra car washes every year to my things to do list. Might be a good idea to air down the tires a bit...I noticed it doesn’t take corners as nice as my old truck. A little flat on turns. Like an older 3 wheel atv vs dirt bike. It doesn’t lean into the turn at all lol But it does drive nice and will probably keep me from flying around like I have a 911

I’ve had a few black vehicles in the last 10 years,I like to think I know how clean them properly. Clay bar, swirl remover, good quality wax...but I wasn’t aware of black specific polish and wax. I see turtle wax and Meguires both offer them Thanks for the heads up

Best decision I made. Finally reached 500 miles on odometer so took it out for a spin to check everything out.Have a little over 6” between bedrail and fiver. Tows SO much better. When I go over highway transitions it doesn’t get all squirrely. Feels much more stable and glad I listened to everyone’s input. The 8 foot bed makes it less worrisome when maneuvering. Thanks again everyone!
The auto air level is nice. It lowers truck 1 inch in back and keeps everything level (alternate trailer height)

jasin1,
Just noticed your signature. I have the HO Aisin combo as well in a SRW.
I thought that combo was designed for the 3.42 rear end only. I did not know it was available in the 4.10 that you have. Is that a new option this year or is my info wrong? (entirely possible)
Thanks
RMc

No as far as I’ve seen it’s been available. I saw several 4:10 HO Aisin Trucks..i didn’t look at 2019 but 2020 definitely available..I had the 6.7 with the 68rfe and 4:10 in my 2012 srw 2500.This one seems much more capable

Could not agree more, this is way more capable TV than the 2001 Ram 2500, I need to check the mirrors to make sure the 13,000# 5er is still back there!

That do look very good and I know that you are very happy that you went with this setup.

When I bought a 2016 3500 Cummins HO Aisin SRW the only axle ratio available was 3.42. I was pulling a light Montana HC and it worked well. Duallys are available with several ratio choices.

K,
Thanks gearhead.
I guess only the SRW is required to have the 3.42 to match up with the HO/Aisin combo?
