I don't have a purpose pictures of our mud flaps, but I have one when doing the comparison of the 2001 and 2016.

I just got the Rock Tamers also, but have not had a chance to tow with them setup yet.

They look good how far off the bumper are they?

I like them to be 1 or 2 inches from the bumper. I don’t recall what the instructions said. You achieve this through rotating the arms which attach to the receiver collar. Once you lock them in then you loosen the collar around the flap tubes and rotate them so the flaps hang straight down and lock them in again.

This is what I have on mine. Inexpensive and easy to install with no drilling. You can get SRW too,

Had them on my F250. Would like the ones on the dually to be closer to the ground.

I recommend either Duraflaps or Rock Tamers.

These are just the right height that I can back into a parking space and they clear the curb by about two inches.

Bart, what you have is attractive, but not functional in relation to your towed RV. It will not keep the first stone off the front of your RV. Mud flaps protect your truck. Stone/rock guards protect your RV.

Well decided to buy rear dually weather tech to protect the truck (had front off my F250) and rock tamers to protect the trailer. Was suppose to pick up my trailer on 9 April but cancelled due to the weather. Told the guy I didn't want to get on the roof in freezing rain he looked at me like I had two heads and said why would you need to get on the roof we already checked things over during their PDI. They just don't get it... I will be checking every square inch before I buy it. So can't cut the rock tamers till I have my trailer hooked up to get height.

Cheers Tom

I went for the Weather Tech set. Easy Install, secure. Great protection, look great. Cost was nice.
Still trying to figure out how to use my Rock Tamers with my new fifth wheel. Too wide and will hit the trailer on a turn. Might cut the flaps and add to lower the Weather Tech's

I have Husky splash guards but wish I had DuraFlap mudguards. They do not require any drilling. Check them out.

We're using rock tamers and we have a 2019 F350. Work great!
