Weight distribution bars, is larger better?

So My trailer 22rbpr has a P3 hitch. Over kill I know. I have both 10k bars and 14k bars for it. Are there any disadvantages to running the larger 14k bars other than just added weight? Or should I go back Down to the 10bars?

A simple answer, it could be a very stiff, jarring ride as the higher rated spring bars will unload weight from your TV's rear axle. It can put excessive stress on the trailers frame too. I'm thinking you should be okay with the 10K bars on your 6600 lb GVWR trailer.

I also have a Propride and run the 14k bars. But I also have a very long TT. You’d probably be in the 10k bar range with that TT but Sean at PP is really helpful with getting the right setup. I’d shoot him an email and see what he advises. My setup with about 900 TW isn’t bone jarring. I do see that he sells 14k bars without the head/yoke etc and not the 10k bars. Not sure if buying the 10k set and upgrading bars if needed is an option though.

Edit: I’m a moron and didn’t fully read your post. If I were you I run the 10k set and see how things go. You’re lucky to have both sets. I’d love to try out smaller bars with my setup.

I run the 10k with our Propride on our 23’ TT. That would be a good starting point IMO.

Unless you are also carrying lots of weight (500+ pounds) in the bed of the TV behind the axle.

I also would go with the 1000 bars. 1400 would pretty stiff for that rig.
