Think this is over-loaded?

My nephew's friend took this photo in Arkansas. I think he needs a WD hitch.

Air bags will take care of that and make it an F450.

Headlight fluid seems to be low, front end to light.

Anybody ever worked for a construction company? The boss say's take that truck and load and deliver it to another job sight. At one time that was me, climbing hills in compound low at 25 MPH due to heavy load, towing construction trailers on the back roads so as not to get caught. Getting to the bottom of a steep backcountry hill hoping that the brakes would hold. Having your Sphincter muscle doing spasms as you watch all your mirrors for something to come off the truck. It all worked out but I was very glad to get back to a desk job.

Been a few years ago, I stopped the same type of set up only 1 mile from him getting onto the interstate. He was driving the back roads as much as possible prior. Among around 12 violations he had the worse was no brake or turn signals on the trailer. After I cited the guy I advised him to park it and leave it until he could pull it lawful or a trip to jail if it moved. Can anyone picture that on a busy 3 lane interstate where most travel above 60, many above 70 and all switching lanes to get around slow traffic, someone would have been hurt. If he caused a wreck or not I think I could have made a case of reckless driving. "Driving in a manner that endangers the safety of persons or property". Which is a trip to jail.

I once had a dealer tell me our F250 would pull anything on his lot. I just laughed and told him, but should it? I happen to know no one in this dealership actually owns a trailer

Of the top 3 jobs that I believe to not believe the talker is a car salesman. Listen but, as we say "verify" all they say. At times that is not easy to do as your really liking the color, engine etc. And forget the verify what they say the vehicle can and will do.

My grandson sent me this picture and asked if I thought it would work. Of course I emailed him back saying, "Not only no, but H*LL NO!!" He said he found it online and didn't think people were that stupid.... Hmmmmm Without a receiver on the truck, I wonder whether some "genius" might just really try this ??? LOL

Saw that this morning. Hate to say it, but after dealing with some people I'm willing to bet it was used.

The DW and I lived in a 14X70 mobile when we were in college. After graduation, we moved to a real house and sold the mobile. The guy that bought it had the same truck and it looked just like this photo when he left with it. Of course, that was 1973 and we didn't worry about such things then.

Barney,

That's frightening!!! Hopefully they took the truck off the road and he won't be leaving pieces along the highway after each bump !!!
