what does the light switch operate?, Alpine 3720FB, Solved

We just picked up our Alpine 3720FB, and I am goign thru labeling the light switches in the control panel.

One doesn't 'seem' to do anything. I talked to dealer and Keystone, who have no idea (amazing!).. I pulled off the switch cover, and the dual switch has wires on both switches. these are 12v.

short of some tone generator and searching all the walls and floors, is there some other approach to discovering the function of this switch?

3 dual switches

1 - controls 4 ceiling lights in living area
1 - controls ?? - found it, face of bedroom stairs.

1 - controls 4 ceiling lights in kitchen area
1 - controls the foyer light (second on face of 1st inside step at door)

1 - controls outside porch light
1 - controls two exterior lights

We had one switch that controlled the port side (drivers side) outside lights.

Light switches ?

If you have a ceiling fan, the pull chain may be in the off position altho the light would be on. Just maybe

Had a similar issue. I could not find what a switch did, tried tracing down the wires and still had no luck. Then I noticed an orange light on the outside above the main stairs, that I had never seen on. Turns out the bulb was burned out. So I went around to each light fixture and verified the bulbs were ok. Then started flipping switches.
