Adding USB ports

I'm looking to add 2 USB ports to our trailer (2014 26BHSWE) ideally to a hot 12v wire to add a panel mount with 2 ports.

What are some opinions of the best location and wire to connect, I was thinking (if possible) to connect to the power for the 3 light switches by the entry door and build into the wall below; close to the control panels and counter space. Ideally the connection would not require the light switch to be on, is it possible to connect the 3 switch power before it hits the switch?

I've seen the 2 mods on these forums that have- 1) connected to a storage light power then adding a panel mount and 2) connected individual ports to individual lights.

I do know if you take the storage lite off you will see its wire nut to 12 volt power. I. Tied into that for usb. And the circuit is fused.

Maybe this won't work for you, but I just use a dual port USB car charger that I plug into the 12v socket by the TV to charge our USB devices. Works great for me.
