Which one are you looking to buy? BAL makes the "under frame sliding carrier" and they also make a "between the frame rails crank down carrier".

Love mine. Nice getting spare off bumper. Easy install with self drilling screws and impact wrench.

Love mine. I also made a box to hold my trailer aid ramp that I attached to the hide-a-spare.

Put one on my Cougar, best purchase ever. Really cleans up the looks. Plan ahead for mounting to make sure it wont restrict access to vital things under there and make sure to mount it so it pulls out to the curb side. I have seen them installed backwards and that is not safe in my opinion.

Put one of the Hide A Spare units on my Cougar 32BHS, love it! Had to get that spare out of the front storage compartment!

They were out of stock across the country but I see a few trickling in here and there.

I was looking at getting one of these. Since I have a sealed underbelly
the Model 28218 is the one. Question...In the pics/video these all seem to be mounted to an I beam construction. But my trailer does not have this type of frame and there is basically a flush mounting surface. Not sure if it is a C or a box but not I.

Anyways I'm assuming this will work, but just wanted other input on that before purchasing as shipping is expensive.

Last for those that installed, what type of bolts/screws did you use as it does not come with the mounting hardware.

Thanks
