MaxxFan 5100K Installation

Due to the excessive noise when using the fan function on the AC we replaced the existing bathroom fan with a MaxxFan 5100K. We open the windows in the front bedroom and switch the fan to exhaust. We find it is much quieter and the fan moves plenty of air. Also, the 5100K model has a thermostat that will open/close the vent and start/stop the fan at a preset temperature.

Another major benefit is that the MaxxFan runs on the DC circuit and can be used when boondocking. There are 10 power settings available so that you can regulate the drain on your battery.

The instructions that come with the fan are excellent and we had no problems with the installation.
