Generator fuel gauge

On our unit the inside fuel gauge for the generator tank the light wont go off is there anyway to turn it off or do they stay on all the time?

A switch can be installed that breaks the current to the light portion. They work the same as the aftermarket gauges that are used on HotRods

Yes, added a switch to mine so not to put a drain on battery while camping.

You can also pull the panel and disconnect the power to the light. Mine was not hooked up at factory, so I connected it to have the light on.
