Scrapple is available in a restaurant near where I live. Made about the same as sausage or Spam it seems. In Nam guys would complain about some of the C-rats but all were not bad especially since they were packaged before we were born.

When y'all were talking Scrapple I was thinking Spam and wishing I had some.

The early C's in '65-'66 were much better than the later ones I experienced in '67. I remember the Spiced Beef being pretty good and the Ham and Lima Beans being the last one in the case. I don't recall anyone liking the H&LB's.

Loco Moco in Hawaii with Spam and a shave ice for dessert. Can't eat fish tacos everyday...

I've eaten just about every game animal possible plus for my job, did world wide travel, including Taiwan, Indonesia, South America, Middle East and Europe. Dog, insects, shark, goat, horse, grape leaves stuffed with 'something', monkey and sea life both raw and cooked plus other unknown items left to the host to order. For sure, Montezuma's Revenge, Amoebic Dysentery and Pharaohs Trot was included occasionally as an after effect too just for posterity.

My wife had cat on a Haiti mission trip. I'm glad I missed that one.

I heard that big cats are good. Leopard, lion, etc. I've got no desire to shoot one to find out though.

This was more like feline mignon. A delicacy for Haitians but not my cup of tea.

I have eaten the HUMP of an ox while in Brazil, South America. it was good.

Chicken hearts once and never again..YUCH!!!!!
Escargot while overseas once... same as above. about like Oysters too??
that think chewy stuff gets me..
BUT that is about as wild as I get. wait I did eat a dog biscuit once on a dare and NO alcohol was involved.
