Camping in the Hatfields and McCoys ATV area in West Virginia

Any body camped in the Hatfields and McCoys ATV areas in West Virginia. Thinking of taking the grand kids there in July.

Heard Ashland resort is nice, however never been there. I have been on the interstates close to there. Better be sure tow vehicle is in tip top shape pulling those grades and going down them. Also bring plenty of cash for tolls

You might want to checkout the Pikeville city campground. We have never stayed there but found it when considering a visit to the area this fall.

I have stayed at Ashland several times. X2 making sure equipment is in good shape. It's not for the faint of heart. GPS is dead on so no worries there. Ashland is SUPER clean. Very friendly. Sites are easy and spacious.

Here's our site, last time we went. Little Clampetts go camping once drag all our gear out.

Have you ever been to Hatfield McCoy?

Breaks Interstate Park in VA. Full Hook up, fairly level, very quite. Rates in April of 2014 $26.00 per night.

Well I did leave the lawn tractor, but what you don't see is the air compressor, portable welder and toolbox with everything to fix a atv/utv that was in my pickup. For 27ft that rv could hold some gear.
