175LHS tv size suggestion

I just bought my 2017 Keystone Hideout 175LHS and shopping for a TV. How big can I/should I go with it?

Each person has different viewing preferences, so the largest size might work for some viewers while that size may cause headaches or viewing problems for others. So, with that in mind, get the size that is comfortable for your viewing preferences and that fits the space.

Something to consider, especially if you do much dry camping, is that the larger the TV, the more battery power it will consume, so if you're going to be using it somewhere without shore power, consider the smallest size that will allow you to "efficiently" use the TV without consuming large amounts of limited battery power.

I suppose what I'm suggesting is that you tailor the size of the TV to fit your specific preferences and viewing requirements.

Ok, thanks. I just wasn’t aware if there was a max size that the wall would or wouldn’t hold. Like i said, i am very new to this.

We put in two, both 24". We don't really expect to watch TV that much but if we do that's big enough to see easily from the rear dinette or while cooking, mounted on a swivel. We have another in the bedroom and again it's only a couple of feet from the foot of the bed. We wanted to minimize additional weight but also space taken up by the TVs. As long as you have screws into the studs the weight of the TV is not any different than your house - when stopped. I'd be concerned about a bigger one bouncing around under tow, and would make sure it's secured for the road.

We have 19" in our HO177LHS, use it to look at the weather and news during the morning Joe. Good enough for us becasue we spend most of the time outside exploring and drinking adult Beverages are the fire...Raining out? SLEEEEP

We also concur with what has been said. A reasonable quality 24" should do the job. Few things are more irritating than tying to watch a program in a small space with a 55 inch TV.
Uh, Cain, your life would go smoother if you dumped the morning news and weather and watched a couple episodes of Lucy instead.....

Hi, we found that a 30" ($140) would just fit in our springdale 2200mb, but the mounting bracket made the tv stick out too far - additionally the backing panel seemed too flimsy. We just place the tv on the shelf ("entertainment center") and secure it to the wall with velcro and a spacer when camping. We travel with it secured to the bed face down - no worry of tv bouncing around. We also mounted our Toilet paper holder to a nice piece of lamnt flooring and used velcro to mount it to the wall - no studs to locate LOVE VELCRO. Happy camping, hope this post doesn't annoy.
