Slide Locks?

HI Everyone. Was just wondering. We just purchased a new 5er and did not get any slide locks with it (nor were they mentioned). On our last TT we had one slide. We were instructed on the TT to always put the locks in prior to travel. Should have asked about them? Should I get them for traveling?

Thanks in advance for your replys. Love the forum

The new slides do not need slide locks. The way I see them is alot of stuff would have to break before a slide would come out on its own.

I had the same question when we bought our 2011 26SAB 5er. Dealer said they are no longer needed.

My 06 TT never had any and should never need any. The slide should not move on its own.
