However I'd skip the straw/hay bales. even in plastic they will attract more
mice,rats, and other vermin than youd care to keep warm all Winter.
You haven't mentioned what kind ou RV you have.That would help us to help
you...
I've spent 2 of the last 3 Winters in Central utah, where the temps. get down
to -40 and that's the standing temp. I used 1/2" plywood around the bottom,
made sure I had a site with a Southern exposure for the plumbing side
(driver's side), so i could get the benefit of some solar warming. Heat tape and
pipe foam for the water hose. i got hold of some fittings to make a
Hardline waste pipe (black), that the Sun helped keep thawed.
When it snowed I'd pile it up around the skirting as an insulater (keeps
interior temps from dropping below 32*.
Lot's of things one can do.
