Hello from So Cal

Hi everyone, thanks for letting me join this forum. As I am getting closer to retirement we were looking at purchasing a new RV, more specifically getting a MH and using our Jeep Wrangler as a TOAD. Our plans changed slightly when my nephew spoke to me about getting rid of his 2010 Springdale 267BH. Well now I have it sitting in my driveway doing some minor repairs to get it ready for our use.

The TT is a bit larger than what we need being it is just the two of us and our two dogs (doodles) but it does give us some additional room when the grandkids do join us, plus it keeps the trailer in the family for my nephew to still use when he wants it.

I am not brand new to RVing, we have had a cabover camper years ago and have rented both MHs and TTs over the years. I do look forward to reading through all the posts and gaining all the tips and tricks in making RVing both fun and most importantly safe.

Happy New Years

Welcome. Don't hesitate to ask any question you have. What is a doodle dog? Also, in case you haven't figured out, your Suburban will be a gas hog so hopefully gas prices won't jump much higher!

Thanks. We have two Goldendoodles (Golden Retriever/Poodle mix), what we used to call mutts but now spend a fortune on them

Yes, the Suburban is definitely a gas hog but it does a great job with towing.
