Battery Charger Location

A 2018 Cougar 27 RES in need of a battery charger replacement that will handle AGM batteries. I cannot find the location to verify existing type so I can get correct upgrade. Anyone know where that rascal resides on this model?

The most likely place is behind the power distribution panel (breakers and fuses). You may be able to remove a drawer next to it or you may have to remove the panel.

My last '13 model the converter had a setting for FLA or AGM batteries by pushing a button on the front under the fuses.
Might want to check with the converter manufacturer before spending $$ on a replacement.

Your trailer probably has a WFCO 8955 power center (if it's a 30 amp shore power system) or a WFCO 9560 (if it's a 50 amp shore power system).

Here are links to both of those. Both are AGM compatible. You can read the specifications at these links:
https://wfcoelectronics.com/product/wf-8955-55-amp/
https://wfcoelectronics.com/product/wf-9560/

There's no need to change out either power center or converter if the only reason is that you want to use an AGM battery for the trailer.
