Dexter OEM axle bearings and wet bolt links

Really pleased at the reliability and longevity of the OEM Dexter axle bearings, races, and suspension bolts and links on my 2014 Alpine. Have about 35K miles on the fifth wheel now and latest annual maintenance indicates parts are good for a while yet..

Also the OEM Dexter brake shoes have held up quite well.. I tow exclusively in mountain areas in Idaho and Montana

Lot of folks like to upgrade to Timken bearings and races but from my observations after 7 seasons of towing these parts on the 7K axles are still like new..

I do carry a spare set of inner/outer bearings, races, and seal and could replace on the road in about 30 minutes if I had an issue. But proper maintenance is key to a peace of mind. YMMV

Good to know they are holding up. Thanks for posting a "positive result"

Do you still have the original bushings? Thinking about replacing mine with bronze bushings, my original bushings seem to be some kind of hard plastic and I know at least one has cracked and won't accept grease.
