Pinnacle washer/dryer

PPL in Houston had a screaming deal on Pinnacle super combo washer/dryer. We pounced on it. We had been talking it for months.
So now that it's a done deal, does anyone have a drip/catch pan under their washer? PPL wanted $100+ for the Pinnacle drip pan. I passed. I thought for the small amount of water it will catch in a major leak, it would be a moot point anyway.
Thoughts??

I wouldn't pay $100+, but I would put something under. A major leak isn't as likely as a few regular drips in the same spot reoccurring. Considering the subfloor in closet/storage areas is typically chip/pressed board that tends to swell, a little extra protection is just good insurance.

Yeah, I'm going to look for a plastic tray, tub, mat, or something cheap. I think MSRP on the Pinnacle pan was $140. I think I could get a custom sheet metal one for that. I think.
Thinking about replacing the rubber hoses with braided SS as well.
If you have a washer, do you remove the drain hose and cap the pipe if you're not using it? Gray water tank smells in the trailer?
