Outside Steps Done

Here is today's projects...
I used an outdoor floor mat and carpet tape...

If you have a dog, you did well. Dogs hate, and sometimes refuse, to climb steps they can see through (or between the steps).

That is exactly the reason why we did the steps. Neither one of our dogs would climb up or down the steps the way they were.

Curious - how did you adhere the carpet to the aluminum tread?

Carpet tape. Very strong. Bought the mat and tape at Lowes.

Yeah I just read your first post... I saw the pics and thought about the K9 portion of this mod and responded immediately without reading it. I've never had a reason to use carpet tape but I'll keep this in mind should we need it one day. Your pups will love you for it. Nice work!

I was very skeptical about using carpet tape. But it works great and yes the dogs do love it so far.
