First trailer

After two years of looking and going back and forth trying to decide what was best for us, last fall we settled on a Keystone 179lhs. Next month we will be taking it on its fourth trip -- this time to Colorado.
So far we have been very happy with it. The microwave quit on the first trip, but the dealer swapped it out pronto. Actually, after two years of reading horror stories about every make and model of trailer out there, we are pleasantly surprised so far. Anyway, Hi!

Welcome to the forum! Many "horror" stories have to be taken with a grain of salt. Lots of things can contribute to problems in an RV, not all the fault of the RV or manufacturer. The key is mindset; look at the high side; a 1/2 full vs 1/2 empty kind of thing. Take it all in stride and have fun.

Next month in CO should be fun. Depending on where you are going the higher elevations will still have snow.

I think the forum has a rule about new owners praising their camper's quality! You are supposed to complain I think. At least almost everyone coming on board does. Thanks for the positive words... refreshing and uncommon!

I think anyone who buys a travel trailer and does not expect to have some problems just hasn't done their research.
