suspension

Having recently purchased a Montana High Country 313R E . In looking at the suspension i saw it came with Mor Ryde C 300 which i feel will be good , but there are no shocks , called Mor Ryde the person on the phone said not needed , do not know who i spoke with perhaps the janitor . would like the take of people with knowledge towing

Hi our Montana has more ride suspenssion and hitch. It is very nice only on the most hoorid of bumps do i feel the 5er back there. enjoy it

There are not many RVs out there that even have shocks as an option that I have seen. Now that doesn't mean that there are not axles out there that have shocks - because there are! Just look at Lippert's or Dexter's website and you will find several axles that come with shock absorbers. And what is interesting is that on Lippert-produced fifth wheel frames (such as my Alpine and I would guess most Keystone fivers), there is a "shock mounting bracket" immediately behind one of the tires on both sides! I have had a discussion with another Forum member over the clearance of this bracket with the Michelin tires. But as options on Keystone's fifth wheel model line, I have not seen "shocks" as one. Now, if you want to replace your axles . . .
