Can't seem to get the fridge to cool. Fins are maintaining a balmy 61 degrees on both ac and lp. No error codes are on the display. I popped the back off but doesn't look like anything for the DIY back there. Any suggestions? Still under warranty but it would be nice to have food in the fridge before Monday.

Pull the cover off the black box in the outside vent area. There are two glass tube fuses there. Check them.

Make sure the reefer is plugged into the 110AC outlet in the back and that the gas flame is visible when you peek around the flue. The "big silver canister" on the right side of the back of the reefer should be warm/hot to the touch.

If that doesn't work, and it's under warranty, head to the dealer.

No luck on the fuses, both of them appeared good. Flame running fine and canister is hot to the touch.

12-18 hours yesterday. Didn't notice much of a difference. Tried again this morning and temp actually went 60, 59, and then up to 62 before I just shut it off. That was the diagnostic fin temperature.

DW, your rig is resonable level? Is your frig amonia or one of those new ones (helium, nitrogen or whatever!)?

Yes it is level. I don't know what it runs on though. I've always assumed ammonia. I think there's a switch open or closed that is supposed to be the other way around. I was hoping for the easy button.

Don't know. Left it off for awhile. Took it to dealer who left it turned off even longer and then it worked. 😕
