slide wipe falling off

2012 Passport 2510 RB slide wipe is coming off. I assume this a wipe? My slide is in & while standing inside the trailer, the left side wipe has come loose & is hanging down. Trailer is only a yr. old but this also happened to the right side wipe 2 months after purchase. Dealer fixed the right side back then & it looks like they used grey butyl putty tape to press it back on. Should I use that tape to reseal the left wipe? Or? When the dealer re-attached the right wipe, he said they are "pressed" on at the factory.
Thanks for any advice.

They look like they're gooped on with some sort of black rubber cement. Mine have the same problem.
I cleaned the surfaces like crazy and then used 3M auto body molding tape to stick them back on. One side is still holding. The other side probably didn't get cleaned enough.
