Battery drain

Is there a way between trips to keep my battery charged between trips ? Even though I shut everything down I believe there is something still draining it. When I pick it up after sitting for 2 weeks the battery is dead

I would suggest using the search function to find the different posts about this very topic. I have seen in many of them there are items which do not shut off even when you think they are (ex - the face of your radio showing the time). These items still draw from your battery if not connected to shore power. I experienced the same thing. I am in the process of adding a disconnect after the battery and before the hook up to the TT. Another thought would be to simply disconnect the negative on your battery but I do not know if the sparking when re-connecting actually could hurt your electronics in the TT. I am sure someone with more experience with this item will chime in.

Simple solution is to disconnect the negative lead at the battery... I do this every time I store my trailer for more than a day without electricity.

Even totally disconncted a battery will lose it's charge over time. The only way to prevent this is to periodically connect a charger or keep a battery tender on them all the time.

If I disconnect the neutrals from my batteries, my batteries will stay at full charge for over a month. At least that's what the monitor panel says.

Older batteries will self discharge quicker.

There are many parasitic loads on the battery when not in use. Monitors, entertainment systems etc. The only way to prevent it is to disconnect the battery or install a disconnect switch.
