screws poking holes in slideout seals

Today while cleaning our slideout roof and seals getting ready to treat them I noticed several small damaged areas on the seals. Looked for cause and found screws too long that were poking through the rubber when the slideout is in. These are the screws that hold the slideout flange corners in place. They are a bit too long on both the top and bottom corners.

My dremel made quick work of grinding them off flush.

That is what I would have done as well. There are some people that would have hauled it back to have the dealer take care of it.

Good job! Now when that water gets down, get out there and go camping!!
