Water Pump

Is it normal for the water pump to come on for a few seconds every 12 minutes or so? (not using any water)

If all the air has been purged no. That means opening all water faucets (hot and cold) including the outside shower until it flows freely with no "spitting" of air. If the pump runs without water being used either you have a leak or there is some debris in the pump holding the check valve open.

Well shoot...I thought I had primed the system enough but I just opened the faucets and let them run a bit again. I'll now wait and see if it keeps happening. Praying that fixed it.

Smile Problem solved...Thanks!

I found the leak...the caps on the hot and cold drain tubes are leaking. Thank you for the help...I'm so happy the issue was discovered right away and that it wasn't a big problem.
Thanks again!
