Hideout wet area in closet over bed

Trailer: 2015 Hideout 26RLS Bought trailer 2 years ago

Problem: intermittent wet area in right side corner in closet over bed. Only gets wet once in awhile.

Background: Wife noticed wet clothes in cabinet corner. Thought there was a lead outside getting in. No water stains on sides or top of closet. taped newspaper on sides, top and bottom. Hosed down outside of trailer at front corner using lots of pressure. No wet spots. Calked front outside seams, around running lights, and roof edge. No wet spots after rain
Found wet spots after having AC on for several days

Could the condensation from AC somehow leak into closet. Any other Ideas

Very possible. The AC unit is held in place by 4 screws that pull the unit down onto the roof and compress a foam gasket. Over time the screws can get loose and/or the gasket can degrade.

Remove the ceiling plenum, and the air diverter. You should see a long screw at each corner of the opening. Try tightening them, and then do another water test.
