318SAB real length

I'm going to Newfoundland with my truck and 5th wheel next month. Anyone know what the total length would be? The brochure says 34 feet 7 inches. But is that including pin to bumper? My last fifth wheel (Outback) was a 29 footer but measured 31 feet. anyway....with my Silverado any ideas? It makes a difference in the price.

Sorry, I have never measured the over all length of my 318SAB. I have measured the truck and camper hook-up together. My combined length of a 2008 Dodge 2500HD Mega Cab and 318 SAB is 53 FT. I have always told camp grounds my over all length of the 318SBA is 35FT and I have been able to fit in all the spots a signed to me.
Hope this helps?

WHThayer:
To get an accurate measurement, why not hook up your 5th wheel to your TV and use a tape to measure your total length - bumper to bumper? That is the length used by most ferry systems.
Often, they will measure you while you are at the pay booth.

Thanks guys. i appologise....I didn't tell you that my trailer is 2 hours away from me in storage. i won't get it until just before I leave. I did measure from the hitch to the front bumper of the truck (15') I'm just hoping that I'm a total of 50 feet or less. It makes a difference

I e-mailed Keystone CS and they sent me dimensions for different points which covered all the possibilities.

Overall length is 35ft. That's what we use.

Under 50 ft?

I may be a bit late to help you but I crossed on the ferry to Newfoundland with a 2003 GMC 2500HD with the little rear doors and a 318SAB and just squeaked through at 49 ft and some inches, saving the extra $50 each way. My new 2011 GMC 2500HD crew cab measures 51ft with the rig. Remove the spare tire and carrier and see if you can sweet talk the person doing the measuring!
