Shoddy craftsmanship

I still get surprised at the materials used to build theses things. Thought you guys would get a kick at the way the front of the slide out cabinets was installed........staples! Not even any wood glue for support. This is a heavy piece that wound up on the floor on our way home from myrtle beach

Also the usual pulled screws on the cabinet doors. Still love the camper, though.

The artic fox I had before this trailer was stapled together without glue. The bench seats both came apart. I just got metal corner plates and screws, spend alittle time and made them much better and never again a problem. It was out of warranty. Your problem is alot bigger than mine was, good luck on a fix or repair.

If there was an issue with the headers falling off and they "addressed it" at the factory, you'll probably have twice as many staples holding yours in place.

Ain't that the truth...

My repairs are always better than what the dealer would have done. That's why it's going to be very hard to ever trade this one and start over with a new round of problems.

Since the "advent" of the nail gun it seems that craftsmanship in the carpentry trade has fallen by the wayside. When we built our first house in the 70's, each stud was cut to measure and nailed with three nails in the foot and 2 nails in the header. The last three we built, all the studs were precut and if they were warped or if they didn't quite fit, just squeeze the trigger a few more times. Some studs may have 10 or more nails in each. We've got some trim in this house that was installed with finish brads (from a finish nail gun) top and bottom every 2 or 3 inches. No matter that the board was warped and wouldn't fit, just keep on piling steel in until it gives up....

Staple guns do the same thing "UNFORTUNATELY"
