flojet won't pump
2011 keystone sprinter, flojet water pump. Trying to winterize, I use a bypass I installed inline near the pump and it worked last year. The pump runs but no suction to pull the antifreeze out of the 1 gallon bottle. I tried filling the line holding it up to try and prime the pump, still will not suck or pump. Any ideas, and with no air pressure near the rv what are my options to winterize and drain the lines somehow??

Yes. I ran into this last week when winterizing. Submerge hose deep in jug, open a faucet and turn on the pump, then let run 15 sec. It will gain prime as air leaves the faucet. Not enough force to prime pump through a closed system.

I will give that a try, how long can I run the pump before it causes damage?

It is a diaphragm pump and will run a long time wo damaging it. I had mine run over night once after I forgot to shut it off after drawing the water tank. It worked fine afterwards.

Make certain you aren't drawing air into the input side of the pump. Just a pinhole leak will cause the pump not to prime. If you've got the "T" valve antifreeze siphon type "winterization kit" make sure that the fitting is screwed to the valve tightly. You may have to submerge it in antifreeze or water to keep it primed if the air leak is in the "T" valve.
