Solera smart arm wireing

Hi all.
I continue to have the blinking light problems with my outside controller on the awning (2020 24' Cougar).
It has been back to the dealer twice and has had the top of the controller sealed as per the service recall along with the wire splice sealed.
Has anyone bypassed the outside controller and set it up to only use the inside controls and ignore the outside control?
Awning in/out and lights on/off.
