Some photos from Sedona
These are from my blog post Exploring the Red Rock in Sedona If you have never been and thinking about it GO! We went last April and the weather was great. Lots of RV parks, State park and BLM land.

Stunning pics. Us easterners do not have open places like that. There are always tress in the way. LOL

Nice. We were in Sedona 3 or 4 years ago and I would like to go back. The red rock area from Sedona all the way up to Moab is my favorite area of the country. It makes for some spectacular sunrise and sunset photos.

I went to Sedona years ago for mountain biking. Would love to go again.
Has anybody stayed at Rancho Sedona RV park? I'd rather stay there rather than commute in every day from Cottonwood.

We stayed there for 2 days. They are in a great location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants and in a nice shady area, but pricey and fairly crammed together.

We also love Sedona. Since 96 I have gone on trail rides with horses in various places in Arizona, and a couple of times, we rode for a week at a time around the red rock area, and off the beaten path away from everyone, sure alot of country to see......beautiful pics....

Thanks for the nice comments.
We are visiting the Valley of Fire State park area of Nevada right now and wow, another spectacular place. Love the US SouthWest, so different from the trees, ocean and grass back home in BC

I love BC. So different from the dirt and rocks.
You are very fortunate to have this opportunity to hit the road for a year or so. There's *so* much to see! And people think you have to go to exotic faraway lands to see the spectacular. Heck, I'm not done looking at *my* country!

When we were in Sedona we did the pink jeep tour and
also went to a place , I think , called Sliding Rock Park....
So many people sliding down those rocks even though the
water was about 35 degrees.............- not me -

So true. Seems like we have barely scratched the surface of things to see and do.

How was the pink jeep tour? Bumpy? We were a little leery because my wife has a bad back.
35 degrees! Not me either and I'm Canadian.

Striking photos. Really. It's obvious you took some time with these. Can't wait to see more.
