High Country

We've fallen in love with a new High Country 338db. Price seems right but wanted to get some opinions on tv. 2011 f250 with 6.7. I think it's the edge of my capacity. Any opinions?

Dwighop -
If you would give us some information regarding GVWR, Axle ratings, and other weight limits found on the truck and RV stickers, it would help us to give you a more informed response. Without knowing what these figures are, it is hard to properly answer your question. Thanks.

Sorry about that. Gvwr for the truck is 10000. I've read debate online about this being nothing more than a commercial vs private use number for tax purposes in some states. Gcwr is 23500. Trailer dry is 9875 and gvw 12125. I'm sure the gcwr is fine but was more thinking about the gvwr. I'm thinking loaded truck with fuel and passenger will be over with hitch weight.

Well it list a 1,725# pin weight will likely be more like 2,200+, you can fudge GVWR a bit, But never exceed your GAWR or tire rating!
Edit: I forgot to ask but what is the "empty" weight of the TV? The differance is of course the payload you can have on the truck.
More important is the GAWR both front and rear, this is found on the door sticker. Tires and there weight rating are even more critical. The tire weight rating and max load are found on the tire sidewall. With a 3/4 ton you should be running "E" rated tires good for about 3,400# each.
