Moving on up!

Looks like We're trading in our 2013 Springdale 266RLS for a 2014 Cougar X-Lite 28RLS. My wife (the boss) wants the bigger bathroom. I'll be installing a power jack and can't wait to go camping in two weeks. Looking forward to meeting everyone in here.

Towing

Hello, I'll be towing it with my 2013 F150 Crew Cab Ecoboost. It has the longer 6.5 bed, and the max tow package. The new trailer is 2 feet longer, but almost identical in tongue weight and overall weight as my Springdale. I'll be using a Blue Ox wd hitch on the new trailer. Should pull just as good as my old one.

We use the Blue Ox on our Laredo 294RK - my DH loves it. Congrats on the new trailer. Enjoy.

Joe,

We have the Bullet 284RLS. Floor plan is a little different but similar. Nice shower! Ours is adequate at best but better than none. Your pickup will tow that trailer very well. Luv the EB.

Like the swoopy front end. Very nice rig.

Joe;
Kull .. a great upgrade. Sure your EB will pull it great. We went from a 07' 294 RLS Cougar to a 14' 26sab. Our EB pulled the TT ok but pulls the 5er even better. Also better gas mileage with the 5er.

Hello Joe
Nice upgrade
We purchased our 28rls in October ,
Have camped in it for a total of 48 days .
Only issue I had & fixed was a loose line near the water pump .
Couple of hand tight turns & leak gone.
Wife & I both love the extra large shower .
Great unit .
Enjoy

First camping trip in 28RLS

Hello, we took the Cougar out to the beach for it's first trip. It was a no hook up area, but we absolutely love everything about this model. The extra space in the bathroom is so much nicer. Everything worked great except the over fill tube for the fresh water tank leaked some water into the bedroom area. I re-cut the tube straighter and tightened the hose clamp better. Hopefully it's fixed now... I took some pictures of it in our driveway, before it went back to storage for two weeks.
