Passport 3220bh front cap dented after trip

I just picked up my new 2012 3220bh. After a three hour trip on the highway, i noticed a dent in the front cap above the diamond plate. I know I didn't hit anything and noticed the cap is quite flimsy. Is this normal? Should I contact the dealer? Is it a serious issue? Thanks! Haven't had a chance to use the trailer yet!

That's not normal. And post a picture. Someone had severe front cap distortion at the top caused by something I can't remember…maybe excessive heat under a tarp/trailer cover.

On our previous SOB trailer, the front cap would deform due to the winds hitting the front cap at highway speeds. I used one of those suction cup wash cloth hangers to pull the dent out.

We took it back to the dealer and they pulled the front cap off and discovered the factory had not installed the block insulation on the front of the trailer. The dealer installed the insulation and no more deformed front cap.

Good luck,
