No Water to Kitchen Faucet?

Hi All,
I am in the process of de-winterizing the camper and preparing for our first outing of the season. And I have a problem.

No hot or cold water at the kitchen sink faucet. All of the other faucets (bathroom sink, inside and outside showers) are working properly (hot & cold) with both the city water connection and the fresh water tank pump. When using the fresh water tank the water pump cycles with all the faucets It builds pressure when the faucets are turned off and stops as it should. The water pump does not turn on when I open the kitchen faucet. I am getting a very very slow drip from the kitchen faucet but that is it.

Since all other faucets are working (hot and cold) and the water pump is operating correctly I am thinking I have a defective kitchen faucet? This is unfortunate since I replaced that faucet last spring!

Is my diagnosis correct or should I be considering somethin else before replacing the faucet?

One other note of interest regarding the kitchen faucet.

When I first connected the city water and turned on the kitchen faucet I did get that burst of air and from the faucet as the system pressurized. Then nothing.

There appears to be no leaks under the kitchen sink. And from what I can tell there are no leaks from under the camper since the coroplast is not bulging anywhere it shouldn't.

Sounds like trash or other debris in the lines got to a flow restrictor in the faucet. Might have to clean the faucet, might just be clogged at the aerator.

Don't know what style faucet you have but most kitchen faucets have a removable aerator. The aerator typically unscews from the faucets arm. Turn it counter clockwise as viewed from underneath or clockwise looking down. They will typically have a screen, some washers and a flow restrictior. The flow restrictor is basically a flat washer with a small hole in the center.

Take it off, disassemble it and place the parts in order on a rag or paper towel and take a picture of it. Then clean each part and look at the pic for re-assembly order. If there's any calcium build up ( hard white buildup) you can soak the parts in a little white vinegar to remove it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will give it a try tomorrow.

The faucet is a Glacier Bay Single handle with pull down sprayer model no HD6772W-1108D2 bought at Home Depot

With a pull down spray faucet I'd remove the spray head and hold the hose in the sink and turn on the lever handle and see if water comes out. I think that head has two buttons to go from spray to stream. Any chance it's not fully in one position or the other?

Thanks Marshal, I did push the stream/spray button several times - no luck. I will remove the spray head tomorrow and see what that might uncover.

Update: Curiosity got me so I went back out to the TT. Removed the drop down spray head from the flexible hose and turned on the water and it worked! Screwed the spray head back on, turned on the water and……it worked!

Maybe there was a clink in the flex hose under the sink which fixed itself when I pulled the faucet head out? Or more likely it was Gremlins!

Thanks all for you help!

There is usually a screen at the inlet to the spray head, might remove again and make sure that screen is really clean.
