If the oven won't shut off and the magnetron isn't producing microwave energy, you won't get any cooking capacity from it. There are a couple of fuses in the oven that might be the problem with the magnetron, but if it won't shut off, there's likely more problems than just a fuse.

If your trailer is less than 1 year old, the Greystone microwave may still be in warranty. Depending on your purchase date, you might want to contact your dealership to confirm whether they can get you a replacement before the warranty expires. If not in warranty, most places that sell the 0.9cuft Greystone 900 watt microwave are either sold out or unable to get replacements, so you may need to find a replacement and hopefully you'll be able to adapt the mounting flange to the new appliance. There are several other brands that will fit the mounting flange, but you'll need to drill holes in the new microwave cabinet to mount the plate so you can install it in the cabinet hole.

I had a Forest River toy hauler and the microwave went bad. Went to Walmart armed with dimensions of the old and bought another microwave. I did have to drill holes and mount the plate that secures it to the hole the unit fits into but it wasn't a big deal. I certainly wouldn't consider trying to buy an OEM Greystone which is likely very much over priced.

Are you using a EMS system on your rig? Always?…might have caused microwave issues.
If not I’d get one before you install the new microwave

My DW uses our microwave in the 5th wheel just like she uses the one in the sticks & bricks.. for a storage shelf.. At home it is usually the bread box... in the 5'er it usually has cookies in it..

Amen to all of that!

We did exactly the same thing with a Keystone Springdale. Actually, we like the replacement microwave better. It was a REAL pretty red color. It looked really sharp! And worked well until we traded trailers several years later.
