Marker Light Assistance

Greetings,

I was installing a new back up camera and everything was working great. It is a wireless system that worked perfect. Once I finished the install and secured everything in place, I went back into my vehicle and nothing!

1. I checked everything in the monitor and nothing. When I went to the rear of the travel trailer, all of the top marker lights stopped working.

2. I checked the fuses in my vehicle and the travel trailer and did not
find any fuses out.

3. I disconnected the camera wires and plugged them to my portable power pack and the camera worked instantly. I walked away to check the distance and the system worked amazingly.

Can someone please provide insight on the proper way to see and fix what is going on?

I have a 2017 Infiniti QX80 (with towing package) and a 2019 Keystone Cougar Half-ton 29BHS. Thank you for any and all assistance.

Make sure the camera is wired correctly. It probably has two wires-red and black. Red is + and black is ground. The marker lights will have a white and white with a colored tracer.

White is ground, white with tracer is +.

You need to have your parking lights on in the vehicle while hooked to the trailer.

Just curious. Which camera did you buy? I'm considering a purchase and looking at different options.
