Boar tires

Hello,

Anyone here upgraded to Boar tires? I have a cougar 24 rlswe 5th. wheel. I believe I have oem 16 inch tires that came with my rig in 2016. Thinking on upgrading to these boar tires. They are 19.5 tires and wheels. They are pricey. Are they worth? Any other suggestions? I am afraid of having blow outs.

Unless your trailer is constantly used and considered an annual high mileage vehicle, you'd be putting a lot of money into over protection. There are numerous choices of trailer tires on the market that will provide you with load capacity reserves far above your trailer's requirements without going to extremes.

if you are going to change the rims, I have hear good things about Sailun tires, My tire guy sells alot of them and he even has them on his 5th wheel.

I’m not so certain I’d consider an upgrade to a tire very few people have heard of as an upgrade. You might want to do your research with a very sharp eye.

I agree, 19.5 might be overkill. Perhaps a “G” rated tire would suit your need for more tire.

I’ve contemplated 19.5 for my ride, but I have a Pretty big 5ver. I don’t pull enough for me to make the jump.

Come on, specs show this trailer at a 10,070 GVWR. Are we being punk'd! A set of LRE GY Endurance ST tires will provide lots of excess capacity.

Tires OP noted if they would fit under the trailer would beat it to death.
