Fuzion 345 Toy Hauler Tires

I currently have Arisun (not sure about spelling) G rated tires on my 2015 Keyston Fuzion 345. I am concerned they are junk China tires. We typically camp two hours away and just took a long trip to the beach. Tires did fine but we are looking at taking longer camping trips. It says G rated tires 110psi but when I look closer it says 4ply tread and 1ply sidewall. That scares me to death. Any thoughts on these tires. Any thoughts on other brands. I have researched and Maxxis seems to be favored however I cannot find G rated tires from Maxxis or the Michelin XPS Ribs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure about your tires but yes they are most likely Chinese Gopops.

Right now Walmart has a great deal on Carlisle HD radials. Discount tire is matching the price.

G rated tires are 14 ply tires. What does that actually mean? There is a strength rating on plies. Newer materials have fewer plies with the same strength as older multiple plies. Maxxis does not make an LRG tire. Most people on here have had good luck with Carlisle or Sailun. I recently went with Hartland tires from Discount Tire. Only have 1,000 miles on them so far, but have been impressed with their performance.

It appears to be a copy of the Sailun S637 or the Goodyear G614. http://arisuntire.ca/index.php/2016/12/19/cr960a/

I would assume they are the cheapest tire Keystone received a bid on. That said, I would stop at a CAT scale and weigh the entire rig to see how much reserve capacity you have. If you have a whole lot of reserve, taking into account the tires will lose capacity every year, you might roll the dice and see how they do.
But if you are like me and not a roll the dice type, I would put the same size Sailun on it.

I wonder how much that tire weighs? If it's a steel belted 14-ply tire, I might gamble on it.

I seem to remember this tire weighing about 65 pounds.

I have the same Arisun g rated tires on my 2016, 371. I've probably got around 7k miles on mine with no trouble. Looks like they are rated for a little over 4k pounds per tire. The stats and build of the tire looks good, 14ply, polyester and steel belts. Has anyone had a catastrophic failure with one? My brother has driven big rigs for years and has had Michelin tires separate, you just never know.
