Tire recommendation for TV

Going to need new tires for my 2001 GMC 2500HD. Mostly concerned with towing but I do hit forest service roads to go fishing. Nothing serious, no mud etc.

What are folks running? I've been running Yokohama's but the tread life seems a bit short.

Thanks

I either do Michelin LTX or Bridgestone Revo 2. The last two or three sets have been the Revo's as they last as long as the LTX's, but have more traction in snow (I live in the mountains). Load range E, 80 PSI tires, BTW.

I love my toyo AT2 they are pretty quiet but have a nice all terrain tread. They have been good in the snow and mud too. and the E rated tires are 3600 pounds each. Ive put 3000 pounds in the bed and the tires didn't squat bad.

Another vote for the Michelin LTX M/S2. They are expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for. 70,000 mile warranty so cost per mile actually comes out cheaper than most other tires.

I've also run the LTX A/T2 in the past, they are a little more aggressive. IMO, unless you plan to do off roading, which you said you don't, the M/S2 is a better tire. The A/T2 just throws to much debris down the side of the truck. Went down a wet gravel road one day, I had A/T2s, my dad had M/S2s on similar trucks, his had a little splatter my truck was pretty much brown from the tire spray.

My 2115 F350 was ordered with Mich LTX AT tires and they came on my 2012 F250 and I have 53,000 miles on them and they look like new.
