Hi All

We’ve just taken possession of our new 40CLDL. We’re planning for retirement and looking forward to be in our unit full time in May 2025.

Welcome and congratulations on your new arrival It sounds amazing. I hope your retirement brings you all the good things you have worked all your life for. I took mine at 58 and never looked back. Happy trails!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your new camper. Congrats on your upcoming retirement. What's really great about retirement?.... BUT ... it takes about a year and a half to figure this out .... You don't have to be in a hurry to do anything any more. You don't have to "rush". You have no more timelines. As a result, you can go slower, relax more, and take your time "getting it done".... whatever you engage in. Because you don't have any more time-lines, whatever you engage in, you can take the time and do it better! So, don't be in a "rush" to see all of the USA in your first 3 months of retirement with that really great new RV. You have the rest of your life to accomplish! So, relax, drive a short distance, spend a week or two and then move on. Enjoy the local culture, the local food, and get to know the area. Then move on after a while. Just remember .... you have no more deadlines! Take your time and enjoy the journey as well as the destinations!
