Shower floor

Hello again my friends. My 2023 33rli shower floor is flexing in certain areas and i am nervous about causing any damage when i step on it because i am a big boy! am thinking about reinforcing it from underneath with a few 4x4 square blocks glued in place with small thin carpet squares between the blocks and the floor for a little give. Any other ideas or things you have done to remedy this are appreciated.

You're on the right path. Looks like you have an access panel in the front of that shower so you should be in a pretty good place. 4x4 is pretty large, hard and unforgiving. Maybe you could assess what you need under there, mill whatever dimension wood you need (maybe 2x4 sandwiched with pieces of 1/2" ply) and a thin layer of rubber/carpet square etc. attached to the top. I would round any lumber on all edges so there aren't any sharp edges to eventually break/crack the shower floor. We had to do that on the last trailer. I weighed 200 (down to 190 now yeah!) and it flexed more than I liked.

I was in a similar situation with our Passport. This is what mine looked like from the factory. It explained why there was some “give”. I just added another block in the center and that solved the issue for me.
