We Boost cabling

Hi there. Has anyone used the existing satellite cable ports to run external We Boost Destination cable to interior antenna and other components? How’d it work? Thinking to avoid running cables through windows etc. 2022 Passport 268BH. Thanks!

I personally do not think it will work. The cable inside your camper is a different cable than that small diameter cable that came with your WeBoost. But, you have nothing to loose, so why not try it. Try plugging it in (but notice also, the jacks are different sizes too). Also remember, anywhere you have a cable junction, some frequency is lost. You will have additional junctions (connections) between the antenna and the power transformer.

Depending on the configuration of your wiring in your camper, if the satallite connection goes through In-Command, then I know WeBoost will not work. In fact, it may screw everything up.

However, if you have a direct cable for your Satellite connection, then (maybe) it "might" work. Still nothing to loose if you try it. Just make sure that satellite wire truly is not connected to anything else.

I installed my WeBoost antenna inside my Air360+ dome and ran the cable down into the camper following the existing cables.

With my Cougar 359mbi, I ran the cable from the ladder down under the bottom shield to my slideout and up through the hole drilled in for the refrigerator propane line behind the fireplace. So no drilling needed
