Most likely the CANBUS isn’t seeing the On/off signal it needs to see to tell thermostat there are two zones daisy chained together...
Turn off battery and kill shore power and go on roof to that zone and remove cover... or if you have cover on inside on ceiling at that zone AC unit remove cover and locate gateway.
There are some dip switches on it... one or more will be ON and the rest OFF.. cycle the ones that are ON on and off a few times to wipe the switch contacts inside and return to their original
settings
Now turn battery power on and connect shore power... do a reset on thermostat .. I’m assuming this is a CCC2 thermostat since your post appeared to indicate just one
The reset of thermostat will reestablish...hopefully the link between each AC gateway and thermostat
Reset procedure....
The system initialization shall be initiated with the thermostat turned “OFF” (Either a blank display or clock only showing). Simultaneously press and hold the MODE and ZONE buttons. The LCD will display “IniT” and all available zones. Release the MODE and ZONE buttons.
