First, welcome to the forum. I hope your time here is enjoyable and rewarding for you.
As for your fireplace circuit, first, unplug the fireplace (behind the unit) and using an extension cord, plug it into a known good outlet to check that it operates properly. If it doesn't, it's in the fireplace. If it does work, then I'd suspect there is a loose wire in one of the "knife wedge connections" on the back of one of the plugs in that circuit. Most of the 120 VAC electrical wiring in plugs is done "daisy chain" from one outlet to the next. Any loose connection will affect all of the outlets connected to that circuit further out (past) the loose connection.
I'd first unplug the fireplace and check for voltage at the plug. If there is none, take the plug out of the wall and check the wires pushed into the connectors. It's a common problem caused by "cheap, easy to install plugs" and made worse by road vibrations caused by towing. If the connections on that plug are OK, then work back to the circuit breaker, following the ROMEX checking each plug in the circuit.
