Flooring tear
Replaced my Rv polyhyde furniture with fabric furniture of same manufacturer and style. I removed the screws securing the old furniture, and used the same screws to secure the new furniture.
After bringing the slide out in and out, my vinyl ripped about 1 foot. Went out and discovered that the screws had gone thru the flooring! Wow! Same screws as before!!!
Now I Ann at a los of how this can be repaired. It is a floating vinyl floor.
Any help?

If you can "warm the vinyl and pull it back into position" you can then repair the seams by sealing them with a vinyl overlay seam sealer. It's a liquid that is used to seal the joining seams where two pieces of vinyl are laid side by side. You can use it to seal the edges of the tear.
Alternatively, you may find some "spare vinyl" under a piece of carpet that you could cut out and relay the carpet over the spot (nobody would be the wiser) and use that spare vinyl to match patterns and cut a patch over the tear, pull out the damaged patch, lay the new one in place and use that same "seam sealer" to secure it in place.

We had the same thing happen.
Keystone sent out a small roll, but it was off in color 1 shade or so.
The tech cut a square out of the basement and put it in. You’d never know it. A year latter and still holding up.

I have done that repair numerous times. Go slow, use a SHARP knife. There are a couple tricks. PM me if you try the repair yourself.

The few times I've done that in house I've cut out a square (depending on the pattern)large enough to cover the damaged area. Then tape it over the area to repair and cut thru both prices with a new blade. That way the piece you're putting in will match the one you're taking out exactly. Just take your time.
